ABOUT IN FRONT with WAL-MART

Wal-Mart has more than one million associates in thousands of stores nationwide – and each of them has a story to tell. That’s why we’ve created a 30-minute television program called In Front With Wal-Mart. It gives us a chance to showcase our incredible associates and the variety of ways they give back to their communities and improve the lives of America’s working families.

The program also sheds light – Compact Fluorescent Light – on some of our company’s eco-friendly practices, too. From developing high-efficiency store prototypes, to selling and promoting low-energy bulbs, we’re doing all we can to protect our environment. During our In Front With Wal-Mart episodes, you’ll hear Wal-Mart CEO Lee Scott discuss diversity, sustainability and health benefits with associates. And a celebrity or two might drop by to browse our shelves and say hello to customers and store associates. Tune in and see which celebrity stocks up on socks before he hits the road…and which Grammy winning singer remembers running through Wal-Mart’s aisles as a kid.
